So THAT was the infamous lightening crotch!

For the past couple of weeks, I've had a strange pain down there. It would only happen for a second at a time and it was more like someone poking a bruise...not really the "lightening" feeling everyone described. I thought maybe I had gotten off lucky and that this was my version of lightening crotch. But, holy cow...was I wrong! I think those other pains were the opening act. DH and I were strolling through the pasta aisle at the grocery store when I felt a bolt shoot through my lady parts! I actually jumped and yelped! 

So, tell me...how often should I expect this delightful symptom?  

TTC in 2009, Dx: Unexplained IF
Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    I've had minor occurrences here and there but had one yesterday that made me scream and all i was doing was sitting on the couch - scared the *** out of DH haha

    It happend once already for me. I was sitting at the kitchen table.. bam.. I almost jumped out of my chair.

    I had it pretty frequently about 2 weeks ago but now it's gone. I'm sure it'll come back though!

    IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN
    IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

    Hahaha! I've had a few incidences, but nothing near as bad as that. Hope it doesn't happen very often for you.

    3/25/11 IUI#1= BFP m/c; D&C at 7w3d (Trisomy 16)
    IUIs #2, #3, #4 and #5= BFNs
    Onto IVF #1= BFN
    FET 4/6/12= 2 extended blasts transferred, with one hatching
    Beta 1= 607; Beta 2= 1,564; Beta 3= 24,439; Beta 4= over 64,000
    First u/s on 5/10= TWINS! Heartbeats 158 and 160!
