Great week ahead or so I thought....

This week is suppose to be a great week! I have reached the half way point, my son turns 6 and we find out the sex. I woke up this morning and one of my cats is not doing well. He is old and has health issues. DH and I were hoping he would die on his own but I think I have to call the vet and make that dreaded appointment. To make it worse with DH schedule I will have to take him. I don't think I can handle it.

I'm sorry about your cat - we unfortunately had to take one of ours in back in September due to unexplained kidney failure. In our case, he was only 6, and the vet suspects he had some type of auto-immune disorder...

It's never an easy decision, and I hope you're able to find some peace with whatever you decide. For us, it was harder to come home and have to worry about finding our cat had passed away while we were gone. It's a highly personal and difficult decision, and I don't wish that on anyone.

Thank you all for all of your support! It is not an easy decision to make.nit is even worse with the pregnancy hormones going crazy! It is nice knowing you all are here or support!

I have been through this as well and do not recommend going alone. I alsocompletely lost it even though she was suffering and I knew she was in a better place.dh thought he would be fine and he lost it as well
