did any of the home rems help get you into labor???? or did you just have to tough it out to 40 weeks...?

    My family swears by eating a chocolate eclair to jump-start labor. I ate one and the next day I went into labor (day before my due date- ds born on due date). Coincidence? Probably, but the eclair was yummy! :)

    I tried eating spicy foods and walking a lot, but it only gave me an achy hip and bad heart burn.  I was 39 and a half weeks when I went into labor.

    I walked our dogs 1-2 miles everyday from 37 weeks until the day I went into labor at 39.4. I had been having inconsistent contractions that day. They immediately went to 2 min apart during the walk.

    Nothing worked. I was overdue & induced.

    Sex.  Worked with both of my pregnancies....it was terrible but it worked!  With DD #2 I went into labor about 12 hrs later.

    Sex on Tues, reflexology Wed, membrane sweep Thurs (40 weeks & 5 days), baby Fri!
