I spent $50 on a pair of maternity jeans recently and that was my max. It hurt to spend that.
I'm ridiculously cheap so I will admit to that.
This is me too. I was upset that I couldn't find any cheaper maternity jeans (I'm petite too, so usually if I did find some, they were way too long) and I didn't want to spend that kind of money. Eventually, my mom bought them for me. I normally spend about $20. That's a pair of Old Navy jeans on sale or some Levi's at Ross. I also have a pair of Gap jeans I got at a liquidation place. Those were all $15, actually.
There isn't really a limit to what I would spend on a pair of good jeans. Back when my body was slammin' I bought a pair $110 jeans that looked amazing. Then I paid to have the length tailored because I'm a shorty.
Since having E and struggling to lose weight, I have spent no more than $25 on a pair. They look decent but I refuse to spend good money on clothes for this current body I have.
If I can drop some weight, even if it's only 10-15lbs, I will go buy at least 3 pairs of fabulous jeans and price will not matter. I live in jeans.
I am a total thrift shopper too. There is a local Salvation Army that has a 50% off sale every Sunday where I've scored Levi's for $2! I found a pair of Lucky Brand jeans there that didn't even fit me, but I bought them because they're normally $100 jeans and I got them for $6. But since I only wear Old Navy or Levi jeans, I normally get them from the store or Costco. Never more than $30 for a pair.

I think $60-$75 is probably the max I'd feel comfortable with for myself. I usually try to find cheapie clothes for myself. H's clothes are expensive so I save the splurging for his work attire.

$100ish. But they are my most well loved, most worn, longest lasting jeans. I feel like I could a year out of a pair of cheaper jeans or 5 out of a more spendy pair and be just as far ahead.
My current faves are CK long and leans from Herberger's. They're like $60.00 regular price but always on sale so I pay about $40.00ish. I'm okay with that.
I shell out a ton on work pants too (Express Editors) but I have 3 pair and wear the snot out of them.
$30 at most. I have 3 pairs of ANA brand (at JC penney's) skinny jeans that I love. They are $25 but I would pay more for them- they are my favorite. If I'm looking for boot cut or khaki pants I'll check out Ross or TJ Maxx.
Re: How much do you spend on pants/jeans
For me?

Yep, this for me as well. I am a cheap a$$, maternity wear in general was super painful to buy because it's just soooo expensive!
As for my limit, I've paid a little over $100 for jeans before.

That was when I was making insane money. Plus I was a little chubby and they looked daamn good.
I've also rocked $5 jeans from the local thrift store. These days I stay in the $30 range.
Maybe 40. It's not that I wouldn't spend more. I have just happened to find jeans I really like for that price. I would spend more.
Also, I don't wear jeans often. Like 2-3 times a month. So, spending a bunch doesn't really make sense.
