Is it the baby or the diaper? Screaming when pee diaper

Lo is 2 month old,,,,LO is 2 y/o and used kissaluvs fitteds from birth. Every time she pees she cries until I can get diaper off. Sometimes I don't see crying when it's poo. She's breastfed and doesn't have a uti that i know of. So.. Is it normal for 2

    I'd bring her to the dr to get it checked out to make sure.  She may just not like feeling wet, but it might be an indication of something else. Better to be on the safe side.

    You could stick a fleece liner in there to see if the wet feeling is what bothers her. UTIs are no joke in babies that young though so l would get it checked out. If all is well, I read somewhere that the feeling of peeing is wierd and uncomfortable for some babies when they are young and as they get older it gets better.

    My LO hated feeling wet when she was a nb. We tried using prefolds, but resorted to sposies until she fit into OS pockets, which was at 3 wks. I didn't try the fleece liners, but wish I had.

    Thanks everyone! I emailed the doctor and on Thursday she had 2 month appoint. I bet it's temperment, but I think her crying when wet just seems so terrible as she's developing. Like, if I can help her avoid this uncomfortableness I should.

    Other uti symptoms are vomiting and fever so if she doesn't have those symptoms I would guess she doesn't like feeling wet or if she has a rash that maybe the urine is aggravating some.  I would try the fleece liners to see if that would help. DS would cry every time he peed until he was 3-4 months old then he decided he don't care anymore if the prefold wa wet.

    Some just don't like the feeling of peeing or being wet.

    DS was always CDed and never cared one bit about being wet.  My niece has always been in sposies and would cry every time she peed for months.  Just depends on the baby.
