Let's talk belly buttons

Since about 20wks mine has gone from flat to starting to stick out.  If I wear shirts that are more fitted it looks like this weird pointy bump coming off my belly.  I knew that eventually it would stick out but I thought it would happen much later in the pregnancy.  When did your belly button pop??

IVF#1=BFP#4 on 8/31/11 EDD 5/12/12 EP discovered and MTX shot given 9/14/ & 9/21 M/C on 10/9/11
IVF#2 and Stims started 12/2 ER 12/16 ET 12/21 transferred two beautiful blastocysts. Please stick LO's! BFP 12/26

    I'm 23 weeks and mine isn't even flat yet :( I wasn't skinny before the pregnancy so I'm wondering if that isn't the reason. I'm scared to think how huge I'd have to get for mine to stick out! ahhhh

    The title of this post made me laughSmile But anyways, mine seems to go back and forth. Today has been a flatter day, but I wonder sometimes if it has anything to do with where baby is? Not sure.

    Mine is still just kind of flat.
    Chemical Pregnancy 2001, Married 8/8/09, TTC April 2011, BFP 5/8/11, Missed M/C @ 9wk5d, D&C 6/21/11 BFP 11/13/11 Chase Everett born at 29wks 0 days on 5/7/12 at 2 lbs 14 oz, 14 1/2 inches long.

    I just asked my BFF when my belly button is suppose to pop yesterday. I still have an innie now so I have no clue. I'm hoping it doesn't pop out!!!

    Mine never popped with my last pregnancy. I hope it doesn't pop this time either!

    Now I feel like the odd ball lol.  Why is my belly button starting to stick out already?!?!

    Mine is just flat with a little puff, but not really popped.  I don't think I have enough skin for it to pop out, my mom said hers never popped either.  It sure did stretch and do all sorts of other funny things though!

    Mine still hasn't popped at 38 weeks, and I don't think it's going to. I can still get my finger in it, actually. Apparently I just have a freakishly deep belly button!

    I wouldn't worry about it. I have lots of pg friends IRL right now, and I know one for sure that is about as far as you with a definate outy. She is really thin and wears snugger shirts so its really obviousSmile And another friend who is ahead of me has had an outy for a long time. If the look bothers you maby just wear looser tops. The ones that tie at the back are often snugger over the chest and a bit loose over tummy area.

    Mine is still flat but when r rolls a weird way sometimes half will stick out and that looks really funny!

    Mine never popped with DD but I was pretty heavy to start with and I have a very deep belly button.
    We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I am at almost 28 weeks and my belly button is thinking about popping out, I fully expect it to in the next month. Last night after a big dinner it popped a little bit but it is back to sort of flat/ slightly puffy today.

    I don't think mine will pop. I was overweight when I got my + so I'm just not expecting it to happen.

    Mine is pretty flat & "pops" on occasion. I would say it started a few weeks ago. 34ish weeks.

    Mine is flat, but I've always had a REALLY deep one. If it makes you feel any better, I've got a big ugly stretch mark where it used to be pierced...

    Then came a miscarriage March '11
    Then came a baby in the baby carriage May 16, 12
