1st Trimester

Ok, I'm freaking myself out...

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow and when I press on my uterus (center, right above hairline) I get a really weird feeling. Even a gentle press feels very noticeable and feels a lot of pressure, almost tender. Definitely unusual. Is anyone else feeling like this? I don't know why but it's worrying me a lot!

  • sounds completely normal there a lot of shifting and stretching about to happen down there so you will feel cramping, pressure, soreness, etc...

  • Totally normal.  I think it is right around 8 weeks when you can start to feel your uterus above your pubic bone.  It feels a little strange, but sounds like everything is just growing!

this!  i went to the ob as an emergency visit bc it got really uncomfortable for me last week.  they sent me home with the knowledge that it is your body changing and stretching and that is completely normal.

  • Every day you will find yourself experiencing new feelings, pains, twinges, stretches, symptoms. 99% are normal. Try not to freak out about them. You always have us to check in with. It's comforting to describe a strange sensation and have a bunch of others agree that they are feeling the same thing. But seriously, try not to stress. Pregnancy does all sorts of crazy things, and some of them don't make it to the pregnancy books.

  • Thank you ladies! Rationally, I knew it was probably normal, but we all know that can go right out the window when pregnancy is involved!
