It's still Friday right? BPF (and XP: Team Green turned...)

PINK!

I went to my fetal echocardiogram today, but asked the tech to write down the sex in an envelope, since DH couldn't be there today and find out with me. She said their policy forbids them from writing it down.

Hmm Whatever.

So, she said she could print out a photo of the sex-shot but that she'd tell me what to look for (boy vs girl).

DH and I went to dinner tonight at a Cheesecake place, and asked the server if she felt comfortable looking at the photo and determining the sex and bringing out a piece of cheesecake with either blueberries (boy) or strawberries (girl).

She said "Sure!" and in a few minutes we were brought a cheesecake with....

BLUEBERRIES! (boy)

DH & I decided to look at the u/s photos ourselves, just because we wanted to see and hadn't seen the photos yet.

Well, the server was wrong! It's a GIRL!

WE ARE TEAM PINK!!!!!!

    Congrats on team pink!  What a bummer the tech couldn't write it down (and the server messed it up).  Hopefully you at least got blueberries AND strawberries with your cake last night.  :)

    Congrats on team pink!  This is why I am often wary of sex reveals that rely on strangers. I trust a tech to be honest but a balloon store person or a server or a cashier might be flaky or downright mean. I am guessing your server just didn't know what she saw but I am glad you double checked!

    I agree. I knew it was risky but I also knew I could double check with the photo. No big deal, funny story though!
