Had my postpartum visit today

I had a very hard time sleeping last night because I kept having flashbacks of Annabelle's birth. I kept on wanting the outcome to be different. I felt so nauseous driving there knowing that I had to get back into the stirrups and also having to see all the pregnant women. My doctor was very sweet and got me in right away so that I wouldn't have to sit in the waiting room. She is wonderful and I made it through the appointment without crying until I saw "third term loss" on my sign out sheet. I am glad it's over and hope the next stage to my healing can begin.

((hugs)) We had ours yesterday. Our appointment time was before the office actually opens and they got us into a room quickly to wait for our doctor. I was thankful for that. I didn't cry because I was trying to focus on getting answers to our questions, but it was hard to be in the room where I heard her little heart beating so many times over the past months. And it is really hard to see "fetal demise" on the sign out sheet.

Your appointment sounds like it went well. I was asked 2x (receptionist and nurse) why I didn't bring in the babies. I was hysterical by the time my OB got to me.

I can't believe they would do that! I am so sorry that you had to endure it!
