Does your LO wake for paci pops still? DS knows how to put his in but sometimes can't find it. We did a bit of CIO previously, where I gave it to him at the beginning of the night but no rebinking, after it became a revolving door of rebinking 5-6 times a night. It worked great, but he still has the occasional night (like last night). I am not sure if it's something else bugging him (we did just go down to 2 naps so he's a bit more tired), or he is trying to slip into bad habits again (just woke again now after only 45 mins). Anyways, do you rebink? Does your LO STTN otherwise?
ETA for typo.
Re: Mom's of paci users...
So how many times a night? DS is generally a good sleeper besides it, so I just worry about it getting out of hand again. I don't know why I even care (well probably because I'm exhausted) but I have no desire to be rebinking a 1 y/o. I just want sleep.......
The Avent ones? That's what we use. Do you put them up to the light before he goes to bed? I tried the "leave a million paci's in the crib" and I felt he woke more just for that purpose, like he felt them with his hands or something and it woke him up. I know you have had great success with Lucius STTN, so I am willing to try anything twice!
Like at least 3 times. But I can count the number of times total he's sttn. My big kids who didnt have these issues grew out of the wake up & need my binky after all of the main teeth were through so 1ish.
We still use the pacifier sparingly. Mostly for naps and nighttime, but I do keep one on hand at all times "just in case." Mason was a terrible sleeper from the start, but he never woke up for paci pops. That never satisfied him when he woke up ... boob was the only thing that worked.
He goes to sleep with the pacifier, and I usually find it in his mouth when he wakes up. However, I have also found it thrown out of the crib without him waking up for it. We are still in the habit of one or two nighttime feeds, so that is our thing to eventually work on.
This exactly. Most of the time she can find it herself, but I would say it happens maybe 2 or 3 times a week.
Sara also spits out the paci when she falls asleep. Lately she has been really restless and I have had to go paci pop and butt pat her back to sleep. When she does this I don't think she is awake enough to look for it, so I have to help her out.

We use MAM, and I don't have to hold then up to the light. They "recharge" during the day. They don't bother him if he rolls over on them, but of course every baby is different! He plays with them, too. Before he falls asleep, he gathers all of them together. Usually I find him with one in his mouth and one in each hand. In the morning, he throws them all out of the crib except the one in his mouth.
