cloth diaper repair

Does anyone out there know of a seamstress or tailor (ideally in the San Diego area) that will repair cloth diapers? we have a ton of bum genius 1-size that our toddler has been using for almost 2 years and the velcro is starting to fray... the diapers are in pretty good shape otherwise, just looking for help replacing the velcro!

any tips appreciated!

did you try craigslist? i had someone local do it here. i know she'll ship back and forth, but that might get pricey!

You can buy repair kits from bumGenius, i think, or just get velcro elsewhere (I got some here). Then I would just look locally - it's not hard for someone w/ a good sewing machine.
