I'm a bridesmaid in 7 days...

And my belly is as big as a soccer ball! This damn OHSS. I tried on the dress and it has an empire waist so it zips, but I look ridiculous. Did I mention it's my brothers wedding? There's no way out of this one. IF SUCKS!

  

dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

  • IVF#2 8/1/12 - BFP! DD arrived 4/10/2013.

    Hopefully the bloat will decrease by then.  At least you lucked out with that style of dress.  It could be a lot worse.

    MFI due to retrograde ejaculation/azoospermia.
    5/2 IVF #1 cancelled due to large follie.
    6/14 start Lupron for IVF #1.2. 6/22 start stims.
    7/4 ER and Biopsy.
    7/9 Transferred 2 (1-4BB and 1-3BB) embryos.  4 frosties.
    7/15 +HPT 6dp5dt. 7/18 Beta #1: 193. 7/20 Beta #2: 415.
    8/10 1st u/s - It's triplets!

    Him: 29 ~ perfect swimmers
    Laparotomy w/partial oophorectomy 8/2009 to remove cysts/endo.
    Stopped BCP 4/2010.
    Multiple clomid rounds from 11/2010 to 6/2011. ~ All BFN
    IUI w/clomid 7/2011. IUI w/clomid & injectables 11/2011 & 1/2012. ~ All BFN
    IVF:EPP 5/2012 ~ (4R, 3M, 2F w/ICSI). Both embryos txfrd. ~ BFN
    BCP to manage endo from 10/2012 to 12/2012.
    FET w/donor embryos #1: 10/2013 Cancelled
    FET w/donor embryos #1.2: 11/2013     ~ ET of 2 beautiful blasts on 11/27.
    Beta 1: 503(12dp5dt) Beta 2: 1035(14dpt) Beta 3: 3001(16dpt)     Beta 4: 8503(19dpt)
    Twins with an EDD of 8/15/14! Team Purple
    G&B born 6/30/14 at 33w3d via emergency c/s.

    Yikes! Are you taking cabergoline? That really helped me a lot. Keep drinking the Gatorade!  Hope the bloating subsides soon!

    1.16.12 LAP due to Ectopic @ 7w, Right Tubal Ligation
    3.19.12 IVF #1 - Stims (Lupron + Gonal F + Luveris)
    3.29 ER - 6 snowbabies (ET postponed due to OHSS)
    FET 6/6 - transferred two 4AB snowbabies
    Beta #1 6/16 = 683, Beta #2 6/18 = 1703, Beta #3 6/20 = 4073, u/s #1 @ 5wks = TWINS!!, 7w u/s two heartbeats <3<3 TWIN BOYS<br>

    Aww, I'm sorry!  Bridesmaid's dresses aren't always the best anyway, but at least it still fits.  Hopefully the week will do you good and the swelling will go down - good luck!

    Ugh, so sorry about the bloat.  But yes at least the dress is empire waist and still fits!
