Tonight: on call for work (hoping for no calls! I wanna sleep through the night please), finish paintings for baby's room (1 left to detail, 3 I need to spray with top coat)
Saturday: work until noon-ish, spray paint frames for paintings for baby's room, spray paint mirror for baby's room, spray paint side table for baby's room, alphabet project for baby's room, should also start painting baby's room
Sunday: work on baby projects/room, go to my niece's dance recital, out to eat with the family after recital, back home to work on projects
Monday: day off!!!!! sleep in, finish all projects baby related from the weekend, hopefully prime a hutch for the kitchen
I really need to get some things crossed off my to-do lists I have, so I need my energy to stay consistent and to stay motivated.
Re: What are your weekend plans?
Sounds like you have some intense nesting plans
Saturday I'm working and finishing up my homework for school
Sunday I have my baby shower and I have a feeling that night will lead to not much sleep and a lot of nursery arranging haha
A little light cleaning tonight and relaxing with DH, tomorrow finish the rest of the cleaning then heading to my step sister/BIL's to hang out and have dinner (DH will be asking BIL to be the godfather).
Then Sunday is my 3rd and final shower. It is my friend shower/DH's dad's side of the family, so I am super excited!
Hoping the rest of today goes by pretty quickly, but it is not looking that way.
Saturday: working til 3ish then relaxing on the couch with DH
Sunday: planting watermelon seeds in my garden...and hoping that I can bend down long enough to do so. Then cleaning, and walking the dogs.
Pretty boring weekend by the sounds of it....
Saturday DH is taking SS to little league practice while I and my friend use our groupons for a mani/pedi. She and I will meet up w/ our guys for lunch and put-put golf afterward.
Sunday is, as always, for chores (housework) and errands (groceries).
I took a super early shift as a favor for a co-worker this morning (6am is NOT an ideal time to get in to work at this point), so I'll be off this afternoon by 2:30. I have to somehow find the energy to clean the house, as our shower is tomorrow and it's at our place. Tomorrow is more cleaning and getting ready, shower bbq from 1-5 and then crashing. I'll probably be asleep by 6. Although I just remembered his dh's parents will be staying the night with us. Crap. So we'll do dinner with them, and then I'll crash on the air mattress on the floor of the nursery.
Dh got work tickets to the baseball game on Sunday, but the Golden Gate bridge is closed so we'd have to ferry in. I have to see what my energy level is at that point-I hate that simply going in to a game, sitting through it and getting home would wipe me out so completely, but alas. Such is life now. I will say the park food is acting as a pretty big motivator... garlic fries....
Running Blog
Friday: Done work at 5. Today is dragging! Going home to nap. Friend picking me up around 8pm for dinner and then to go to DH's band's CD release
Saturday: First part of Food Handlers Course, required for work, even though I don't use the kitchen - 9am-1pm. I'll probably go home and take a nap after that and try to get some cleaning/laundry done
Sunday: "Surprise" baby shower. I don't want to drive the 40 minutes to get there and if I didn't know it was my shower, there's nothing that anyone could say to convince me to go. I'll spend today and tomorrow trying to convince DH to drive me. I'll be glad when the shower is over. It's not until 3:30pm. By the time I get home I'll probably do nothing and relax with DH before going to bed.
I can't wait until this weekend is over. It's the last weekend that I have all these other committments! I do have the second part of the Food Handlers Course (still don't understand why I'm doing it) next Saturday but then I'm done with weekend plans!
