We just went with the flow. Her party was also after her nap. We did lunch first, play time/pictures with Chloe, then cake, followed by more playtime/picture time.
We staggered presents so that she would play a little with everybody's present while they were there.
Just put some age-appropriate toys out and let kids play and adults mingle until everyone gets there, then sing happy birthday, have cake, and open presents if there are enough older kids there to enjoy it or if the other parents are excited to see you do it. Then play/mingle until everyone leaves. Done!
It's a small get together. However, I'm doing a sweet table with a big cake (I bake), since it's a small get together I wanted the cake table to be pretty and special so her pictures look cute. The party is from 2-5pm. and we plan to start directly with the pics, and the happy bday singing at the table just in case she gets cranky later (I don't want her crying in the pics), and also the table will become a mess from my nieces and nephews grabbing the sweets...lol...so that we'll take us maybe 30 mintutes or so...after that DH is bbqing...and hopefully people (who are not family) will leave by 5pm. We'll see!!!

We aren't having any little kids, just my 6 month old nephew so there won't be games or anything. I wanted to do a big party but my husband talked me into being realistic haha.
We're not having the party at our house--which is a good thing this year (DS1's party was).....and it begins at 1pm. I figure we'll eat at 2pm. We won't open gifts there (unless someone requests for theirs to be opened there of course). We are BBQing plus some catered foods and then other foods that I'm bringing and then some desserts. Pop/water.
We have about 10 kids ranging from 3-9 years old plus some babies (around a year old) and then some tweens. So for the little ones I'm planning a craft table that will have some really themed crafts that go along with our barnyard animal theme. They are simple and cheap and better yet--they get to take them home with them as well.
We are also doing a pinata.
Also doing a photo thing--I got a backdrop that the kids pop their heads in to and it looks like they're on a tractor--I'll bring my photo printer (it's portable and small). One of the crafts they are doing is decorating their own farm-themed frames. I'm excited.

Eat. Cake. Presents. Play with cute baby.
I guess I don't know what there is to schedule..esp. since there's no other kids, it's not like you need games and activities.
Just keep it simple and sweet.
simple i can do.

it's at our house and we'll have a bounce house, sand box, swing set, and 2 boys rooms full of toys.
When I planned the time for the party it was after his morning nap, but now it's right in the middle of his nap. oh well.
