My Dad just got engaged the other day and called to ask if the last week of June, or the first two weeks in July would be okay to have their wedding/party. It'll be more of a party, not a fancy wedding. Shoes optional/beachy type thing. I'm due 7/23.... do you think it would be okay to travel 2.5 hours away that late in the game? I have an appointment Tuesday and plan on asking my dr before getting back to my Dad.... just wanted to hear from you guys....

    Personally, I'd be okay with the last week of June, but July would be out unless you traveled with your hospital bag in the trunk just in case.
    Mommy to N (3), J (2), and C (10 months). LO4 is due in mid-September.

    I think if you haven't had any complications this far, then you should be fine.

    When I was pregnant with my first, we traveled 8 hours away about a month before my due date.

    I would say the earlier the better, but I would think you'll be fine to go.  I don't think that 2.5 hours is really all that far.  I am planning to attend my cousins wedding 4 hours away at 35 weeks.
