I have terrible amount of greying (my dad was all over white hair but age 45, I get my hair from him), but I can only afford to do it every 3 months. That is why I have her put lighter highlights in because it helps the greys not to show so much. Otherwise I have to do all over color out of a box at home and that I have to do about every 8 weeks (the last 2 weeks a lot of grey is showing). DH and I agreed to me using the salon because it looks a lot nicer, but only every 3 months. I would love to do it every 2 months at the salon, but at $100 a pop, I just can't do that 6 times a year.

I am pretty blond but I do get all over even blonder highlights. I am so bad about getting it done. I go every 6 months but by that time you can see a ring on the 3-4 inches of grown out hair

I have lots of grey and cannot afford to have it done at the salon as frequently as it needs to be done. So, from the box it is;) I do it every 8 weeks or so.

I go every ten weeks. I would prefer every two months but try to save money by waiting a little longer. Around the time I notice my hair needing a touch up, it's time for the next appointment.
I need to go every 6 weeks but I stretch it to 8 weeks to save a little money.

I get high lights and low lights and a haircut every 6 weeks. Majority of my friends go every 6-8 weeks so I think that's totally normal.
Our Journey from two to three!
3 IUI's, 2 IVF's, decided to move to foster/adopt.
12/24/2009 Baby C born, 2/1/2010 placed with us,
5/17/2011 Adoption final- we are finally a forever family!
i go every two months. i would go every six if i could afford it. more than two months and my roots look like crap. i think two months is very reasonable.
Every 6-7 weeks. I'm lucky to have found someone very (relatively) reasonable. The girl I went to before was more than double so I stretched it to 8ish weeks, but it was rough!
I stretch it to 8 weeks but would prefer 6 weeks. I have had luck using Clairol root touch up to stretch my salon color a few more weeks. It's not permanent so it fades out and won't mess up your salon color. It just makes my grey's look more blond than grey.
I have pretty much 95% grey and have to go every 5 weeks or I look like a skunk!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
