That sounds good to me! I took four ibuprofen about 45 minutes before the procedure. It really wasn't bad for me at all, no more than thirty seconds worth of intense cramps and all done!
Good luck, I hope it goes well for you!

I did mine 2 weeks ago and it was no big deal. Almost easier than getting a pap! I've heard if there are problems with the tubes you may have some cramping. I took advil that morning and had it that afternoon due to a mix-up (was supposed to have it first thing in the morning). If I could have gotten out of work on time, I'd have gone to the gym that night, because I felt absolutely fine. The nurse and radiologist tech, etc. were all awesome - I guess they do this kind of stuff all day long! Good luck!
TTC since 1/11. "Unexplained" IF. 6/12 - 50mg Clomid + TI = BFN. 7/12 and 8/12 - 50mg Clomid + IUI = BFN. Taking a break and planning for a final IUI before the end of the year, but back to considering adoption. Repeat AMH of 0.67, ouch. 3rd try 10/12 - 100mg Clomid and back-to-back IUIs = BFP!
I just had mine done yesterday. I was pretty worked up about it. I drove 2.5 hours to the clinic and forgot any take any meds. Everyone is different, but mine was easy peasy. I have had pelvic exams that were MUCH worse. They did inject my cervix with lidocaine, but even that didn't hurt. My right tube was slow to "fill and spill", but no real pain to speak of. I did experience a fullness when the dye was injected. I hope your experience is a good one!
