Sore crotch anyone???

I literally feel like I just rode a marathon on a bike next to Lance Armstrong. Ridiculous! Not quite sure what's happening down there, but I can't say I appreciate it very much. I don't feel any pressure, just sore, especially after I walk my dogs (which is about a 1/2 hour walk) or exert myself around the house. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have a dr.'s appt today and I'm going to ask her about it, hopefully it's another unfortunate "normal" symptom!

Re: Sore crotch anyone???

  • yeah, I think that's pretty normal.  My MW said that the pelvic bones are spreading apart and can wiggle around and be uncomfortable.  Good luck!

  • Yep, talked to my midwife last week - the pressure and extra blood flow make this one more lovely, normal pregnancy side effect. The good news is she says it goes away after labor.

  • Totally normal.  It's just all of the extra blood flow in that area.

  • Yeah....I've had very few aches/pains until the past week or two but I've got this problem big time now!   It's especially bad after I've been sitting or laying down for a while.  It's not really polite to go around talking about your sore crotch to your co-workers or friends though so I just been been suffering in silence!

  • Yep, I've had this fun experience for weeks.  It hurts like a b*tch, so sorry :(

  • Thanks guys! I talked to my doc today, and she said the same thing about the pelvic bones spreading. So not fun! But, she did say it's temporary. So we'll see if it stays til delivery. I hope not!
