I just called to check in with DH to see how his day was going. He said he was dropping off my aunt from the hospital home. How sweet. They were stopping at the CVS so I asked him to get some more pull ups for DS and some Dreft. He asked what the Dreft was for and I said to wash all of baby girl's clothes. He said why not just wait till she is born to do it. Ladies...talk about DEFCOM 5 to 1 in 0 seconds! OMG! I am at work all day. Dealing with these people that are about to make me pull my hair out. He is at home and not even the one watching DS (who is at grandparents). He has been looking for work, but that's all. Laundry is falling out the hamper, dishes are piled up, and THE HOUSE NEEDS TO BE CLEANED! I am about to have a baby dude. You want me to wait to the baby comes to wash her clothes?! Do you not remember me after I had your 10lb son?! And I can't trust him to do it either. GRRRRRR!
I need to do a couple of woosahs. I am about to go all frying pan on his head.
Re: No this fool did not just say that (DH vent)
Girl.... we are there with you!!! DH says stupid stuff like that to me. He is slowly learning not to get mad at me back....
Give him hell when you get home!
If he didn't buy the damn dreft like I asked him to. it's gonna be on like popcorn!
POP***POP*****
lol
LOL!
Hehe you are so funny! My dh has been driving me nuts (probably bc I'm driving him nuts) but he is so not nesting yet and I wonder if it will ever happen??
Case in point: He is playing video games right now while I cleaning. Ugh.
When I read your post, I couldnt help but cringe when you said you didn't trust him to do lo's laundry. However, I am a giant hypocrite! Last night, my husband did laundry for the first time in roughly three years. All I couldn think was "Man, I hope I dont have anything I like in the laundry basket."
Well, I hope you got your dreft!!!!
Well ladies he did not get the Dreft. *Huge sigh* right now I told him I would tell his mother that he was making me do all the work and he was doing nothing. His eyes went wide! Lol! His momma is no joke and I admit babies me
. She has really been there for me like her own since my mom passed. So he is doing the dishes and cleaning the family room and kitchen. DS is even helping him by pushing the swifter around.
I'm doing laundry, mine, DS' and LO's. He can do his own.
I just rolled the bag down the steps lol. I told him he will have to bring it back up for me. I still have my cast iron frying pan waiting just in case.
My SO could not understand why I came home with 4 packages of bottles the other day (12 bottles total). He looked at me and said "why so many, all we need is 1". I laughed, thinking he was joking! NOPE! He was completely serious! He cannot understand for the life of him why we need more than 1 bottle! His theory is "he can't drink more than 1 at a time, and all we have to do is wash it!". My only comment after that was "wow! and to think that I actually reproduced with you"
LMAO!!! Seriously. I could see if this was our first child, but it isn't. Did he forget the year of DS' life completely.
Don't get me wrong, I love my FI- and this is our first so I can give him a LITTLE leeway- but we've had the "why do we need that, we have plenty of...." conversation so many times. The most recent one was a conversation about why we might need a diaper bag when we had plenty of bags with pockets, or why we need to buy special detergent for the baby's clothes when we don't even need to wash them, since they're brand new.
*Rolls eyes* Men. Love him, but d**n.
