Sorry for the copy and paste. I haven't posted here in awhile, but I do lurk
After more than a week in the hospital with my blood pressure and the IUGR being monitored, the doctors decided the boys needed to come out.
H
and L were born via c-section at 33.5 weeks on Friday April 20th H
was 4.8 pounds and L was 3.7. Neither needed respiratory support
(thanks to beta shots i think!) and both are doing amazingly in the NICU
learning to eat and grow.
It was a very difficult week leading up to their birth but I am glad they came out when they did. L's placenta showed signs of deterioration and the vessels weren't lined up where they should have been. The IUGR was not apparent until the week before their birth, so we are hoping that the placenta's issues ( which the docs think were caused by the high BPs) lead to the IUGR but that the effects on L aren't serious. He looks great now, which is a good sign!

Congrats on your baby boys. I'm so glad to hear they are doing well.
I know nothing about preemie clothes so I'm no help there. I would try the Preemies board if I were you.

The hospital DS was born at had a little shop that sold preemie clothes, nursing bras, breast pumps, etc., so you may want to ask about that. Also, BRU had a small preemie section, but DS was born 6 yrs ago, so I don't know if they still do.

The best places to find preemie clothes are Walmart, BRU, and Baby Depot IMO. We had the best luck at Walmart.
My DD was 3 lbs at birth and even preemie stuff was too big. When she got into the 4-5 lb range at home we did a lot of Gerber stuff which runs super small. They have the kimono style long and short sleeve tops.
Try amazon and etsy as well. I remembr ordering some preemie hats from them
Look for It's a Preemie Thing online and on facebook. I think she sells some stuff too and might be able to help as her son was preemie too!

My baby has IUGR too... he was born at 32 weeks but he was only 2 pounds 4 ounces. Your babies sound very good-sized for their gestational age!
