Ok...here's the rest of the story now that I can type on the computer instead of my iphone. So I've been having problems with my liver this pregnancy. I spent 4 days in the hospital and was referred to MFM. The high risk doc found out I have CMV and continues to follow my care.
So, I go in for my NST today and the baby isn't really responding. They have to put an ultrasonic thingy on my belly to get her to respond. So, I'm late for my OB apt. I get there and give my urine sample; it's like raspberry tea--super dark. I look at it and think, here we go again with liver problems.
While I'm sitting in the room, I can hear the nurses talking about my urine. They even pulled the doc out of a patient room to show him. They also tell him it's 30+. So, I'm thinking he's going to talk about it with me, maybe order labs and call my high risk guy. Nope. The whole time he was in the room he only cared about reminding me that I should deliver with my MFM guy (which is in another state). I was expecting him to comment on my urine, but he just left. I thought maybe he was going to order labs and I'd find out when I make my next week apt. Nope. He didn't even address it, so that's why I have no idea what 30+ means. In addition, he doesn't communicate with my high risk doc, so unless I tell him about this at my next apt., he'll never know. The whole thing is scary and irritating.
