Fighting the Boob

For the past 2 days LO gets so mad and fights my boob when I try and nurse him. I've been having to just put him down and pump and then give it to him in a bottle. Anyone else have their LO fight when trying to breastfeed?

    Mine went through this same thing for several days, and I ended up pumping like you, but once I tried holding him another way he latched on and ate just fine. So I now have to switch between the normal hold and when he fights me he latches on by me using the football hold.

    Mine does the same thing! She will nurse great for a few minutes then mad. I either try different ways or pinch my boob for her. I also notice its when my breast is softer too. I'll switch sides... then go back to the other side after- that normally helps.

    It's most likely gas.  Keep burping, it may take awhile.

    Mine does that when he has gas or when my flow is to strong because of a fast letdown reflect.  Kelly Mom talks about ways to help.

    My LO does this every now and again. She will drink for a minute then pull away crying. She often then goes to sleep without feeding at all and is fine again when she wakes - so I think it's over-tiredness - but i don't really know. I also think it might be mild reflux. Is he arching his back when fussing? Posseting more than before? Drooly?
