I recently stopped swaddling my daughter and using just footed jammies and a sleep sac for night time, but I've noticed that her poor little hands are freezing cold. Any ideas for correcting this?
I think it's really common among babies. I asked our pediatrician about it with our first son, and he said that cold hands and cold feet in babies are not reflective of their overall temperature (if they are hot or cold), so just because they have cold hands doesn't mean the rest of them is cold. He said it's not a problem if they are sleeping well and dressed appropriately otherwise. The last thing you want to do is overheat them. I've heard of putting socks (even adult or kid socks) over their hands, but I'd worry about doing this. It doesn't allow them to have their hands to suck on if need be, and if they got the sock off, it's just something else in the crib that is potentionally unsafe.
It bothers me too, but I remember it going away at some point with my older son.
ditto PP. it's normal and not really indicative of them being cold. If their core feels appropriately warm, they are fine. DD has really cold hands and feet at night as well (she's also just in footed PJs and a sleepsack) but she sleeps fine. Once in a while if her hands seem especially cold, I'll put those mitts they make for newborns on her but usually I just leave her be because it doesn't seem to bother her
DS has the same problem. It doesn't bother him though. The only thing I do is when I nurse in the middle of the night I try to put his one hand in between my arm and my side and I hold the other one in my hand to warm them. They are still just as cold the next nursing session but it makes me feel like I'm doing a little something for him.

Pretty much this. When we change DD in the morning her arms, core and legs are all nice and warm. Since she is sleep 7+ hours, it obviously isn't bothering her, but I try and warm them up while I nurse anyway!
