Any ideas why these dipes get so holey? I'm over on diaper swappers looking at some and they look awful!! I have 5 in my stash that thankfully have no holes yet, but I'm wondering how long until they will.
I don't have an answer to the "why" I just wanted to say that I notices this too! I have a about 8 elementals and I LOVE the fit and have never had one leak. But I just noticed my first hole in one today It was one I bought in EUC on diaperswappers. Apparently it doesnt affect the function! I do dry these dipes on low bc they get so crunchy when air dried.. Maybe that has something to do with it?
I've wondered why too. I found some Elementals for $4 each on CL because they had holes. I love them and I really love how cheap they were. I've thought about getting some new but this seems to be a common problem so I'm not sure I want to pay the price for new ones.

I wouldn't buy them new, not seeing how quickly they wear out. If you do want to get more I'd check out diaper swappers. Some over there are in decent shape for lots less than a new one is obviously going to cost you.
I read somewhere (not sure how reliable it was) that there was a bad batch of cotton one year, and those diapers faired much worse.
I have a couple lightly used ones that were a great price. I wouldn't pay $25 for new ones though, even if the holes don't affect how they work, it seems like they should hold up better.
