I've been soaking in calgon for the past week everytime I do a load and the ammonia stink had really gotten a lot better. DS hasn't been burned by a diaper but even after a couple of house the diapers still have an ammonia smell so I've been using disposables at naptime and bedtime for fear of long term burns.
I found RLR at our grocery store and decided it was worth a try. I put CLEAN DIAPERS in the washing machine.
The entire washing machine is filled with suds.
Apparently I need to find a detergent that works better with hard water and a FL.

RLR is amazing. I hope you see a big improvement in those diapers!
My water isn't super hard, but I've had great luck with soap nuts.
