Gray is the "American" way of spelling and Grey is the "British" way of spelling the color. I mean, the colour, haha. :-) I think Gray looks....softer. Grey looks more manly. ??? Not sure why.

So THAT is where the two spellings cf gray/grey ome from!! I have been wondering that my whole life and why I couldn't figure out if one was a misspelling. I guess neither one is a misspelling.
OP, I prefer Grayson. I looked it up on ssa.gov, and Grayson is the more common spelling. (Ranked 122 in 2010. Greyson was 249.)

This name is starting to become very popular in my area. One of the girls on my summer softball team name her son this 6 years ago but they spelled it Graison...
If I had to pic between your options I'd pick GRAYSON.
