I've been on this board looking for about a week now. I haven't been ready to introduce myself, but I've been feeling down since last night and I think it's time. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Ellie who was born sleeping March 10 2012. I was 36 weeks, and everything up until the moment they couldn't find the heartbeat was perfect. These past few weeks have been so hard, but I'm trying my best to stay positive about everything. I'm trying to be the best person I can be because I know Ellie is watching. My DH has been so incredible through all of this, dealing with his grief while helping me with mine. I've just felt blue and feel like from reading a lot of other posts that everyone on this board is so supportive, and some of the most postive women I've seen on loss boards. I hope to step out of my shyness and be active and get to know the incredible women on here. Thanks for listening!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your Ellie. I am sad to welcome you but happy you decided to join the board. I am fairly new, we said hello and goodbye to our daughter Patricia on March 30 at 31 weeks. Like you, everything up until that horrifying moment had been perfect. I felt great during the whole pregnancy, never even had any morning sickness!
I understand your feelings about wanting to be the best person you can be. I have been taking it a day at a time and focusing on what I can do each day. I'm happy your DH has been there for you, I would be lost without mine right now!
I hate that I have to welcome you to this board but I tell you these woman are amazing. We lost our DD almost 7 months ago and I have no idea how I would have gotten through it if I didn't have these ladies. I am so sorry for the loss of your baby girl Ellie. If you ever need to talk we are here to listen. Huge hugs!!!
Heather
