Nursing strike!

We just ended one! Lo just randomly starts getting angry when I tried to nurse him on Sunday and I just got him back to breast this morning finally. We don't know why this happened but it was very upsetting to me and lo. He drank whatever I could pump in a cup which wasn't much since I sah and don't ever usually pump! 

Has anyone else gone through this? I am just happy I sah and was able to really work to get him to start up again he isn't even 10 months yet.

    Glad you both survived, I heard it can be very hard on both mom and baby. 

    Hope he does well from here on end. Good job on working through it.

    Yep, we had one at 4 months if I remember correctly. I was worried, not sure what was going on then I realized it was a strike. I just kept offering the breast, she usually made a huge scene, then I would pump and feed her that instead. After a couple days (might have been near a week) she just switched back on like nothing had happened. I was so relieved it was over!

    Yeah we had one around 5 months. It went on for a few days, never figured out a cause for it or anything. It was very upsetting! And annoying, because the first day it happened my cousin and his wife stopped by and WOULD NOT LEAVE. I would have been fine nursing in front of them but LO would not do it. I fed him a bottle but of course I had to pump too. I kept thinking they were about to go so I'd do it when they left, but after several hours I was just like, okay, I have to go do something in the other room.

    That was a random vent, sorry.
