When we went for our 4D ultrasound, LO has not yet turned which meant that all we could see were knees and elbows and a couple of fingers. She re-scheduled us for the 7th of May, to make sure he will definitely be in the right position by then.
What helped you guys getting the best 4D pictures? I've heard of eating sweet things like chocolates. Also drinking sweet gassy sodas like Coke, but also nothing dark coloured, so rather Sprite then? What worked for you?
Re: 4D Advice?
Careful with loading up on sugary stuff. It's easier to get a baby moving than to get a baby to slow down if they are moving too much.
I know when we went, our baby was pretty sleepy and didn't move too much, but that was fine, because we got great pictures and video! Had she been wiggling around everywhere, that would not have worked out to our advantage.
This! And it's not bad for you
for my 4D ultrasound, they had me increase my water intake the entire week before with 3 extra glasses a day, and then they also had me eat a snack at least 20 minutes before I went in for my ultrasound. That seemed to do the trick because baby girl was active and moving like crazy and they got amazing pictures of her.
Orange juice is a good thing to try before you go for your ultrasound that always gets baby moving around in there.
