My (new) favorite thing

My new favorite thing that Caleb does is when he holds his arms up to be picked up! I think it is so darn sweet how he is reaching for me! He only started doing this in the last week. What's your favorite thing that LO does?

DS started singing this week! He really just sings one or two notes, but it's high pitched and clearly singing rather than talking. When I copy him, he repeats me and we do it back and forth a few times.

Martin does this too and it's so adorable! Love it. He's starting to learn to crawl to me and try to pull up on me. And I LOVE his clapping!

how sweet! LO is getting close to doing this too, but he fails his arms up and down to tell me that he wants to be in my arms. I just love how he smiles and lunges towards me when he tries to walk.

Lily and Abby both have their first word. Abby's is "kitty" or "DEEEEEEEdee" as she yells every time the cat comes in sight.

Lily says "mama" and means it. Usually, she says it when she is sad, but the other day, she said it after planting a sloppy kiss on me.

Brynn has this new completely scrunched up face she makes due to teething but it is the cuuuuuutest thing, I love it!

dd2 moves her tongue back and forth to intentionally make silly noises. she also has started "waving," which is holding up her hand and opening/closing the fingers. i'm smitten!

When DS sees something he thinks is cool he goes "oooohhhhhh." Like when he sees the little kids playing out in our neighborhood or my alarm clock glowing in the dark room. It is the cutest little sound like he's thinking "that's amazing."

My other favorite is when he grabs a book and starts looking through it on his own. So stinkin' cute!

She just started standing for a few seconds unassisted, and as soon as she does it she sticks her butt out a little for balance and then throws her hands in the air like, "Look, ma, no hands!!"
