Hello everyone, I have never posted to this board before but I was curious to see how your SO's dealt with your PPD. Were they supportive or just totally confused? Was wondering if anyone had a good online resource that had a good explanation of what goes on during PPD for the SO to read, I would appreciate it, thanks!

Wow. Good question. My husband is very supportive and awesome. There is a blog on Babble.com called Strollerderby and the writer gives her take on it. It isn't specifically for spouses, but it might help.
This also is just a woman describing her PPD on REDDIT. It totally helped me feel like someone was out there who understood. Maybe it will help your husband get perspective. I thought it was totally dead on and it really helped me.
I've had depression for almost a year now, which has been rough on my hubby. It has helped both of us immensely to have him come to therapy with me. The therapist helped us work out ways that he can help me and not feel so helpless.
Good luck!
