This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.

Hi, I know I've been gone for a long time but I'm hoping to rejoin you ladies. I've still been waiting for my BFP since my loss back in March 2010, and i am currently in the midst of my second Clomid cycle, this time with Metformin as well. I'm hoping to get to know all of the new ladies, as well as reconnect with some old friends.

Hi ladies. Been a while.

7DPO today, and I had my first RE appointment this afternoon. I think it went pretty well, and our plan is to do testing next cycle, and Femara + IUI the cycle after.

As of now, I am waiting for FF to give me crosshairs.....I think I either ovulated yesterday, or will today. So that means the wait is about to be on!

I think probably 22 when I was still in college, with my DH (then BF) and all of my core group of friends were still in the same area (not living hours apart).

Hi there! Thanks for the welcome!

HCG was down to <6 on Monday, so I don't need repeat testing. It's a relief, but at the same time it's a little hard to celebrate. The phlebotomist did a number on my arm though--I have a huge red and purple bruise. Parting FU from the ob/gyn service, I guess.

I'm heading back to yoga today, for the first time! I looked at the calendar this morning and realized it's been exactly 1 month since that devastating u/s. It was a horrible day, but I'm glad I pushed my doctor to do an early (7 week) u/s, since it led to diagnosing the ectopic pregnancy earlier, and that ultimately could have been very dangerous for me. That, and delaying bad news doesn't make it any better. My insurance is so far refusing to pay for it, but whatever. The hospital hasn't sent me a bill (yet). At least in my next pg, I won't have to beg for early u/s.

Wish I were doing a little better emotionally. Although I am getting by, I ducked out of a group outing for the first time this week, out of fear that I couldn't handle the accompanying pregnancy talk and excitement. I think it was the right thing to do for me, but I feel guilty about it and wish that I were more confident in my ability to handle that situation.

Ok, I'l stop rambling. QOTD: I think I'd choose to stay 21 forever--senior year of college. My then BF is now my DH. Lots of good times with friends, and little work stress. And I can't for the life of me think of an autobiography name.

CD 1 today of cycle 14, but I'm doing ok since I got to schedule my HSG this morning. Makes me feel a little more in control of this whole darn thing...

QOTD: My autobiography would be something along the lines of "Expect the Unexpected." And I would stay 23 - the year I got married, the year I got my first big girl job, the year I bought my first house, and when I was still just the right amount of naive.

So today is CD1 for me, for my first AF since this loss. I called our clinic to schedule a cavity assessment (mine expired) so I'm waiting for the nurse to call me back to schedule it.
The last couple of days have been extra hard, but I'm proud to be making it through!

Sorry you've been having some hard times, but way to keep a positive attitude. That is something I definitely need to work on, ha.

I know easier said than done, but you have nothing to feel guilty about. During this process you have to do what you feel is right for you at the time. The emotional just comes with time. Lots of T&Ps headed your way.

Hi ladies -

Hope everyone's week is going ok - it's almost Friday!

I'm doing ok this week. I had to call the OB b/c she wanted to know if my hormones weren't settling down (in our 2nd and last cycle of TTA per her orders to see if they event out). I was hopeful they were b/c my temps are MUCH less rocky this month so far (CD14 today) but then I had a random 3 days of spotting a few days after AF was done (she was here for 7 days) and I also had some spotting in the follicular phase last cycle, which my Dr. knows about. Plus, I have cramping just about every day. So, she wants to see me for some testing in about a week and a half.

While I"m glad she wants to see me, I'm still upset it's coming to this. I had hoped that my body would even out on its own but it's not looking that way right now. Sigh. Very frustrated. I've been on a hormonal rollercoaster since November. If I'm going to feel like junk, I'd rather it be FOR something like being KU.

Question of the day: What would you name the AUTOBIOGRAPHY of YOUR LIFE?

I honestly have no idea. Today it would probably be "I think I might actually survive my husband's trip (from hell) to law school?"

Update: It's day 6 of my first AF after D&C. It actually wasn't very different from my regular AFs other than the fact that I HAD NO CRAMPS THIS TIME . Super happy about that. My cramps were always insane. I think today should be the last day.

I'll be TTA for at least a couple of cycles. I'm thinking we'll start TTC again on our vacation in July.

Good Morning LIW!

Update: I am still in my 2ww. I had great labs this week (progesterone 22 and estradiol 268) but I am just frustrated that there is nothing more that I can do to increase my chances. Instead it is just a shot in the dark each month. I have been on the bad side of every statistic so far, and there for, do not have much hope that I will actually ever get pg again. Usually, I am excited that the week is almost over when this post comes up, but I am dreading this weekend. I know that I will be in tears by Sunday that will only be worsened by the feelings of PMS symptoms. TTCAL just sucks sometimes!!!

QOTD: Right now I think I would title my autobiography "And the Hits Just Keep Coming."

As for what age would I like to remain, I would probably say 31. I like being out of my 20's and being given the respect of a mature women, but yet, being young enough to enjoy being young.

Update: Waiting to O....it's either today or tomorrow. I got a very clear positive OPK this morning; historically, I have a big dip on my chart 2 days before O, and that was on Tuesday, so we will see.

QOTD: Here, There and Everywhere for a movie title. As for age, 29. I always say I'm not having birthdays, it's x anniversary of 29.

Age - That is tough - I loved being in college and would go back in a heartbeat - so that would be age 21, but 32 was when I met DH and I would like that too.

Update: Thanks for checking in on me! I'm doing okay...surgery went really well on Tuesday, they got out all they needed to, and I am at home recovering now. I am in a significant amount of pain still, but the pain meds are helping with that a little. Surgery #2 is on Tuesday. I am looking forward to that one, knowing that I will be that much closer to being done with this nonsense and back to TTCAL. Thanks for all the love from everyone!

Hi Ladies!

Update: Mentally I think I'm doing pretty well lately. I'm waiting for something to set me off. I was even able to go visit my friend and her 5 week old Monday. I definitely got teary eyed a few times in the car, but over all I really enjoyed the visit!

I'm on cycle day 11, just waiting to O. The OPK's are starting to darken so I'm hoping it will be closer to pre mmc when I O'd on cd14.

QOTD: I have no idea about a movie title! As for age, I think either 25 or 29.

Update: I didn't start charting very early so I may have missed O and don't know it.. So either waiting for a late O or AF or BFP... Yeah! I am all over the place... I have been having some really rough days lately but hope that they will get better...I woke up sobbing yesterday with no explanation and that's not even close to the first time...

Autobiography title: You won't know what hit you..but you will always fight back

Age: I would love to be 22 again! I graduated from nursing school, we bought our house, and I started my dream job... It was a perfect time!

I am checking in late because I spent all day thinking of an autobiography title and couldn't think of a creative one. Maybe just LAME: the title would match me. :P

Update: Not sure where I stand. I'm confused by what's going on in there. I'm definitely waiting for something, just not sure what. To O? AF? Anything!

GTKY: I don't know that I would stay any one age. I would definitely love one day to just be a kid again -- go outside to play, read for hours, and go to school. But I would also love being in college again, or meeting DH again, or just growing up. I've loved every age for different reasons
