Is someone only considered a PW if they start a lot of posts? What about the people who rarely if ever start a post but ALWAYS comment within in a thread, are they considered a PW also or is there a different name for that, like Thread Wh0re?

Re: PW question
There would be a lot of us then if that was the case.
Myself included. I try to for the most part be active on the board.

Everyone is different. Some people consider a PW to be someone who posts a lot of posts at one time/ in one day. I don't. I consider a PW to be someone who starts a lot of posts in one day.
And LMAO at thread wh0re.

Thread whores unite!
If nobody posts anything to existing threads because they're afraid of being called out as "thread whores", then internet message boards everywhere will meet a quick demise. Interaction and comments are sort of the point!
Starting a dozen threads in a few hours - problem. Finding something to contribute to a dozen threads in a few hours - not a problem. At least that's the way I see it. Someone who posts nothing but "thumbs up" all the time and doesn't have anything to say will get an eye-roll from me, but it's not that big a deal. So what if it's padding someone's post count?

Post Whore
I agree with this, but I also think that there are a few people who have to get their 2 cents in on everything, even if they may not know what they're talking about. It's one thing to be supportive and helpful in a lot of threads. But people who just want to run their mouths and express an (often uninformed) opinion on everything can be annoying, IMO. It seems like newbs have a tendency to do this more than regs.

I feel dirty saying yes.
Me too, but I do remember.
I feel like a PW is someone who posts a lot about really random stuff that no one could give two sh*ts about. Like "I'm haveing tacos for dinner!" or "I'm on CD5 and my bbs hurt" or "Is it weird I like kittens?"
