Doctor Appointment Update (kinda long)

So I had a doctors appointment today for my period last 16 days and counting, as some of you saw in my last post.
I went to the doctors and they did an exam and he seemed to think everything looked okay, however he felt like I might have not ovulated or had some fluctuating hormones. So he said he was going to write me a prescription for Prevena (SP?). He told me that it would end the bleeding and kind start a new cycle and would allow me to ovulate.
As he was writing the prescription and I was getting ready to head out the nurse calls us back. She got a faint positive on a routine pregnancy test. I told the doctor that I had tested right before "my period" had began back on the 8th of April. I was having pregnancy like symptoms so I tested like 2 times prior to starting to bleed and both time got a BFN.
Anyway the positive has shown up.... sooo now I have to go for blood work in the morning to see where my levels are. He told me Im either misscarrying a baby I didnt know I was pregnant with or having a chemical pregnancy. Im not even sure what the difference is, Im going to google that next.
Im just at a loss, I got pregnant the first time the month I got off birth control and lost the baby. Now I possibly get pregnant the first month of trying again but lose it again. He said that we will have to talk on Friday and run some more test to see why the pregnancies arent staying with me.
Im not sure how I even feel at the moment, I just feel numb at the moment.
One thing however, my husband ended up showing up to my doctors appointment. I didnt even know he was coming Im so glad he was there with me.

BFP #2: 8/31/12 EDD: 5/18/13 Chemical pregnancy: 9/4/12
BFP #3: 5/17/13 EDD: 1/24/14 Loss at 5 weeks: 5/29/13
Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation.
Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP! EDD: 6/7/14

D&C: 03/08/12 Waited for AF for 146 long days!
Hysteroscopy/D&C on July 10th to fix blocked cervix (DX: Cervical Stenosis)
BFP #2 12/8/12, EDD 08/21/13 Our rainbow arrived 08/24/13!

BFP #2 04/25/12 EDD 01/04/13(?) confirmed ectopic 05/16/12 6 wks 5 days 2 doses of MTX-Lost left tube on 05/25/12 Back to TTC, earlier than originally expected.
BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

Thanks girls... it deffinitly wasn't the news I was expecting at my appointment today. Especially since I had take 2 tests earlier in the month. Do you think that they could have just been false negatives?! I just dont understand really what/how it happened. I'm just feeling overwhelmed and confused at this point. I don't believe that theres any chance for a good outcome with this one, I've been bleeding for 16 days(thinking it was a period) I'm just glad I made the decision to go to the doctors.
Hopefully we can just figure out why this happened and move forward to try again and hopefully have one stick. I guess the one good thing I can take away is that I must be ovulating and I got pregnant pretty quickly twice.
