Bottle fed Babies who drink from a cup...

I'm trying to start DS on a cup so we can transition from the bottle easier. Which sippy cup or straw cup have you been using for your LO?

DS #1 figured out a straw cup pretty early on but DS 2 doesn't seem to care. I even put puree fruit on the straw so he gets the hang of sucking. He sucks the fruit off, but doesn't suck hard enough for the water. Bah! lol

  • Saoirse likes to chew on the straw, but has not figured out the drinking thing.

She loves the Nuby cup with the handels and the soft silicone top. She finally figured out how to hold it up to get the water out. I have tried to transition her to drinking formula out of it but she's not having it yet.

  • We're just using a regular tea cup. I still have to help him hold it, but things are coming along with it pretty well.
  • Tommee Tippee soft spout with handles, or the Doidy cup https://doidycups.com/

  • We started with the muckin handle cups, however that didnt last very long she this transitioned to the muckin straw cup, the straw is soft.

  • I just bought the Tommee Tippee soft spout cups today. I read reviews about it and it was one of the highest rated trainer cups. We'll see. So far Dylan likes to shake the water in it. Thank god its spill proof.

  • I have the Nuby Take and Toss cups that seem to be easy.  They are not spill proof, and there is far less sucking required which was an issue for us at the beginning. I also have Playtex straw cups which were pretty easy. You can squeeze the cup to make the water come out and it kind of helps to start the kiddo off.

  • I tried a few, and our DD preferred Playtex First Sipsters.
