We are in a food rut and Hannah is not happy about it. She has had a lot of carrots and sweet potatoes lately, and now she will throw them right onto the floor and not eat them at all. I feel stuck because so much gives her gas that I have a hard time getting much fruit and veggies into her. Here is what she ate today:
B: egg yolk (first time) toast and applesauce.
L: carrots (ate one peice), pancake, one bite of banana
squash, peas, fish, Cheerios and a graham cracker
Whathas your LO ate today? I need some ideas here!!

Re: What did your LO eat today?
B: Oatmeal with chopped up peaches in it
L: 1/2 a banana, and a Yam Cauliflower puree mix (I am trying to get rid of the last of our purees)
June Bugs Blog
B: oatmeal, applesauce and kiwi
L: black beans and brown rice and avocado, finished the kiwi
B: 1 pancake and strawberries
L: A puree squeeze pack
B: Greek yogurt, toast and pears
L: cheese quesadilla and blueberries
S: banana and puffs
B: 2 egg yolks scrambled, toast w/ Greek yogurt spread on it + blueberries
L: Some steamed carrots, grilled cheese
B-diced pears, oatmeal mixed with a fruit puree(can't remember which one I threw in the bag for the sitter)
L-spinach and carrot puree, plain yogurt mixed with blueberry puree.
Since he went to the sitter today, mainly purees for breakfast and lunch. Finger food makes her nervous so I send purees for him there. However, my purees are very thick and chunky.
Dinner-pasta mixed with carrots, white kidney beans, and diced ham. I made white bean and ham soup and gave him stuff out of that. He loved it. He also had a piece of bread.
B: yogurt with banana puree
L: veggie mac and cheese puree (sounds gross but he loves it.. and it's organic too??) and peaches
B: Pancake and Strawberries
S: Puffs at the doctors
L: Pasta and Plums
Your LOs eat so much!! M is not into finger foods yet, but I'm trudging along trying to get off the purees.... she puts things in her mouth but doesn't quite get how to mash things with her gums.
B: Peach yogurt, toast spread w/pear puree, pear puree, 1 tiny taste of a banana
L: Pear puree, like 2 tiny pieces of avocado, yogurt melts
B: diced blackberries and strawberries, 1/2 yobaby yogurt, and about 1/4 of a whole wheat toasted waffle
L: roast chicken (shredded), sweet potato cubes, broccoli, and shredded cheese, covered in puree carrots and mixed with cumin and pepper (sound weird, she likes it though!)
snack: peas (from a can- love these!), diced pear, and a graham cracker
B: Cherios, outmeal mixed with prunes, a little of my yogurt
L: leftover chicken noodle puree, applesauce, raisins (lunch was kinda wacky today with a trip to the tire store and a nap thrown in the mix)
I'm having a REALLY hard time getting veggies in lately and need to step it up. It's hard when they sound absolutely revolting to me though...
B: yogurt, pears, waffle
L: peanut butter toast, sweet potato pur?e, banana, applesauce
S: puffs, yogurt melts, goldfish, string cheese
This is me!!!! I don't like cooked veggies, other than corn on the cob. DH loooves them! I practically gag while DD is eating veggies
B: yogurt with applesauce, 1/2 banana
L: a few peas, 2 bites of grilled cheese, a few bites of avocado, some cottage cheese
All of your LO's are doing so well with real people food. I'm impressed and inspired to give DS more and more finger foods. But this is what he had today...
B: oatmeal with puree blueberry
L: puree sweet potato, diced banana
S: puffs and banana chunks
b: oatmeal and part of a banana
l: scrambled egg and apple
d: risotto w/squash, bell pepper, and chicken
snacks: dandelion leaf, corner of a board book, cat hair
Bwahahaha! Apparently I forgot to add the leaves, grass, cat fur and carpet threads for her snacks!
