UGH...FB strikes again!

Just checked my FB and see that my cousin is PG. Nice way to find out. Doubt the pee has had time to dry on the HPT. She has 2 boys from different dads and is "engaged" to a guy with 2 sons. They depend on help from her parents to pay bills so what makes them think they can afford a 5th child!?! UGH!!!

AMH .97 as of 4/2012! ~ AMH 1.63 as of 4/2013!?!
Him: 29 ~ perfect swimmers
Laparotomy w/partial oophorectomy 8/2009 to remove cysts/endo.
Stopped BCP 4/2010.
Multiple clomid rounds from 11/2010 to 6/2011. ~ All BFN
IUI w/clomid 7/2011. IUI w/clomid & injectables 11/2011 & 1/2012. ~ All BFN
IVF:EPP 5/2012 ~ (4R, 3M, 2F w/ICSI). Both embryos txfrd. ~ BFN
BCP to manage endo from 10/2012 to 12/2012.
FET w/donor embryos #1: 10/2013 Cancelled
FET w/donor embryos #1.2: 11/2013 ~ ET of 2 beautiful blasts on 11/27.
Beta 1: 503(12dp5dt) Beta 2: 1035(14dpt) Beta 3: 3001(16dpt) Beta 4: 8503(19dpt)
Twins with an EDD of 8/15/14! Team Purple
G&B born 6/30/14 at 33w3d via emergency c/s.

    Sorry for the rant. It just pisses me off when people who can barely take care of the children they have go and get PG at the drop of a hat. Here I am, able to afford a child and yet unable to get PG.

    IF is a cruel thing and I agree that it totally seems unfair.  I work in the substance abuse field and am pretty sure that drug addicts are the most fertile people I know.  The irony of it all just sucks. 

    Hang in there.  You'll get your chance.  It's just a tougher journey getting there.

    DS1 born July 2002 (previous marriage).

    TTC since Oct 08. DH Dx w/testicular cancer March 09.
    MFI due to retrograde ejaculation/azoospermia.
    5/2 IVF #1 cancelled due to large follie.
    6/14 start Lupron for IVF #1.2. 6/22 start stims.
    7/4 ER and Biopsy.
    7/9 Transferred 2 (1-4BB and 1-3BB) embryos.  4 frosties.
    7/15 +HPT 6dp5dt. 7/18 Beta #1: 193. 7/20 Beta #2: 415.
    8/10 1st u/s - It's triplets!

    Wish FB had a "pregnancy/ultrasound" filter so that we could avoid all of those painful posts.  
    Pursing Domestic Infant Adoption through a local agency. In the meantime, our dog is our baby.  Bumping from Portland, Oregon.

    I like to think that the tougher journey will make it that much sweeter when it does happen. Someone posted "sometimes the best things in life are unplanned" and I wanted to post that sometimes the best things are the ones that are planned for and hard-won. No point in stirring up drama though. It's her moment, again, so I'll let her have it.

    I work in Corrections (after release from jail - not the same as substance abuse, but see plenty of it) and you are SO right, they are the most fertile people. I see some people that have 4 + kids that the state has custody of, and they are pg with their 5th. so right, the irony of it all just does suck!

    just remember that one day it will be our time! Its just the getting there that sucks sometimes!!

    I wish this too! Someone on my FB posted today about "15 weeks and 3 days"  She was talking about a vacation but was super annoying waiting for someone to ask her if she was pg. 

    After 4.5 years our miracle IVF baby is here!

    I'm sorry...I often tell my husband that if we quit our jobs, lost our house, and became completely irresponsible we could probably get pregnant...for some reason we are just too prepared at this point for it to happen! Stick out tongue

    i hate to say i completely agree. DH and I have the financial means and all the love in the world for 2 children and can't have. Meanwhile people out there who have more than they can handle yet keep having but don't think about that. I watched 16 and pregnant and this girl kept her baby instead of giving it up for adoption even though she has no job and the father left her - what do you plan on doing?!?! urgh so frustrating and we both get so bitter about it.
