Horrible Carpal Tunnel

I am having unbelievably painful carpal tunnel pain in my right wrist/forearm. I have been trying wearing a brace at night and when I am using the computer, but it does not seem to be helping. Anyone else dealing with this and have some suggestions? I see my Dr on Monday and plan to ask about it then, but thought I would see if anyone else had the same issues. The pain is so bad it feels like my wrist is broken at times.

    I feel your pain...literally.  My right wrist is so awful that I can't even pick up a throw pillow and move it or a bottle of water.  The really bad thing is that I'm on bedrest and the only way I can change positions (because I'm so huge) is to push myself up using my wrists....and I can't anymore.  The pain is pretty agonizing but I'm thankful that I just have it in one wrist.  I tried all the home remedies that were suggested and nothing has worked except doctor prescribed painkillers.  Let me know if your doctor has any other suggestions.

    I used to work at a factory and I got carpal tunnel in my wrist pretty bad... I wore a brace as well, and worked with a physical therapist on some stretches which really helped. Have you tried anything like that? You could probably find some good stretches online to try!

    Yep I'm also dealing with the pain. After trying two different styles of braces I said to heck with it and I just deal with it.  I figured the braces weren't helping me because it hurt even with the brace.  I'm not completely sure it's Carpal Tunnel for me since I haven't had any tingling sensations or numbness but that's what I call it. Hopefully it'll disappear after LO is here since it's my dominant hand and I'm not sure how it's going to work out carrying him or lifting his carseat if it hurts like heck.  I have noticed it feels better when I soak it in warm water but most of the times the relief is only temporary.

    I hope the doctor is able to give you some advice.
