I may as well introduce myself :)

Hello there,

I am on this board more and more lately, so I thought it would be polite to introduce myself.

I'm PG with #2, due on Christmas.

I had a natural birth plan with DD that did not go to plan. I had midwives, and did the best I could to prepare. But, circumstances were not optimal and sound medical opinion intervened with a little help to deliver a healthy baby. I got pretty close to the experience I wanted and it was amazing.

This time I am delivering at a birthing center, and I am thrilled to have found it. I also learned that had I had #1 there, the circumstances of my labor would not have led to the intervention stage until a full day later. I am very hopeful that I can achieve my natural birth plan this time!

I'll be looking forward to reading the positive encouragement on this board throughout my pregnancy.
