interested in using cloth diapers... help

I am interested in using cloth dipaers, but I am overwhelmed by the choices. I would like to save money over using disposable and I have heard and read that cloth diapers have come a long way. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I started with disposables and started phasing in CDs at around 3 weeks.  I was too tired to learn how to use and clean them.   I still use both because I'm still getting the hang of 2 kids + a workaholic husband.  Some days we're all cloth, others all disposable.  We have a wide variety and got most as hand-me-downs and gifts.
