  We are aiming for 36 AIOs for NB we have 28 right now. Then we have 16 Freetimes, 8 grovia AIOs, 12 Oh Katy pockets & 8 Charlie banana pockets that are all OS which Dd uses right now. She's 16 mos.

  If you are doing only AIOs - I would say at least 30 to be washing every other day.  And make sure to be a little diverse in case the kind you buy doesn't fit right on your nb.

  Beyond the NB stage, I agree that 24 is probably the minimum.  AIOs take awhile to dry, so you need about 3 days' worth if you want to wash every other day and allow a day for drying.

  For the NB stage, I filled out my stash with PFs and ended up really liking them.
