Hernia!?

I went to Dr today for some abdominal pain, and also some ongoing intestinal issues, and my Dr ended up feeling a lump, which she said could be scar tissue, or the beginings of a hernia. They ended up doing an ultrasound, and now she wants me to have CT scan- as she said she thinks that it is a hernia. !? I am nervous! Has anyone had experience with this?! I had a c-section 4 months ago. ..

    i was checked out for a hernia because i have really bad diastasis recti. turns out i don't have one, but i wouldn't be too worried. they're not uncommon and depending on how severe, you might not even need to do anything.

    My sister had a hernia after her c-section, though I think it's more related to being pregnant than having a c-section. She is trying abdominal exercises to correct it before surgery. Good luck!
