did you 'lady-scape' before your internal?

  • I found out yesterday my OB's office doesn't do internals until week 39....whew, thank goodness! ?But I've had them a couple times throughout the pregnancy and thought to myself "oh crap, I should have cleaned up a bit down there". ?DH has to help me anyway as I can't see a single thing down there, uuggghh! ?I should probably do this before the baby decides to make her?appearance, which shouldn't be anytime soon but ya never know!?

  • Nope, I used to for earlier appointments but at this point I don't care what she thinks of what she sees. I maintain the best I can but by no means go out of my way to impress her.
  • I do, well no, DH does it for me, I just hope he is not making funky designs that I can't see; however about 4 weeks ago he thought it to be funny to forget the guard and I looked like a 12 year old with a beer belly.
  • I have not lady-scaped in months and I SO do not care.  There is absolutely no way for me to see anything down there, and it's not worth it to try and have DH do it so I'm going Amazon and it doesn't bother me one bit.   :)

  • I did, but I think the timing was purely coincidence. I had given up for most of the middle part of pregnancy, but I got so tired of it that I trimmed it all off as much as I could just to feel "cleaner." Lol.

  • i can't see down there therefor i don't care right now.  DH likes to pick on the "forest" but i'm too cheap to buy a new beard trimmer that actually works. (i had an old old one that finally kicked the bucket).

DH has offered, but to me, thats a little weird lol.  I trim what i can *shrugs*

  • I can't see a darn thing.  I don't want dh to do it.  I actually attempted to do some trimming in front of a mirror.  It was kinda tricky.  I was afraid I would hurt myself.  I got some done, but not enough.  Oh well, they will shave....with c-section and all.
  • I tried too but gave up after the first time I went the opposite way I wanted to because of the mirror.
  • I wasnt able to see down there for the longest time, and I stopped caring when I couldn't see.  Then I had her.  And now I can see it all.  Holy shiit, it's not pretty.  I haven't even attempted to lady-scape yet.  I don't know where to begin.  Wink

  • I tried last week without looking, and I came out pretty uneven and it was kind of scary.  I'm pretty sure that I won't be trying again before delivery!
  • It's the only time I do ladyscape.  I'm pretty good at doing it by feel.
  • I thought this was funny because the weekly emails that my hospital sends out had this as the topic for week 31!  It said don't attempt hair removal because the hospital will remove hair as needed.
