Introductions...

Hello all! I am a first timer to this community, having been a member of The Knot when DH and I married in August of 2009. I decided to come back because frankly this is a more user friendly community of boards as compared to others I have cruised!

A little about our journey...we decided to begin TTC in Feb. of 2011 with absolutely no thought in our heads that we would have a hard time. Clearly we did, as here it is April 2012 and we are still without child. After testing both myself and DH in November of 2011 to make sure all was well to go ahead with Clomid, I took it in Dec 2011, Jan 2012 and Feb 2012 with no luck. Taking a break from clomid in March of 2012, we began IF treatments at our local university clinic where I am a student and of which no treatment or care is covered by our meager health care benefits. After a series of further testing (HSG, more blood work testing the hormones, etc) we are still in the unexplained category. I had a polyp removed a few weeks ago with no complications (but intense cramping because they had to do a D and C). We went ahead with our scheduled first round of IUI last week on April 18th and I am currently in the TTW.
