Hey Ladies,
This is the check in for anyone in their 2nd Trimester. Please let me know if you would like to be added or if you've moved on to 3rd Tri and need to be removed. I hope I have all your info correct.
Any updates you'd like to share?
QOTW: Have you decided on a name yet? Would you like to share?
I also want to open this up for any Flame Free Complaints you have. While I know we are all thrilled to be pregnant, it's not always a fantastic experience. I would like to give you a chance to complain without getting flamed. So let's hear it ladies, what are your biggest complaints?

Re: 2nd Tri Check In
Hello 2nd Tri! May I be added? My edd is 10/23 and we are expecting twins. So excited to be here
.
QOTW: No names yet. We have our next u/s at 18 weeks and we are hoping to sneak a peek at the genders then. After that, let the name debate begin!
FFC: M/s is still kicking my behind. I hate to even mention it, but I just want to go one day without throwing up. I have a funky work schedule and I hate arranging my meetings around my prime throwing up times. Plus, I'm starting to get worried about my weight gain. If I keep getting sick, how am I supposed to put on weight for these babies? Thanks for allowing me to vent!
12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!
I will gladly add you!
Sorry about the m/s. I was right there with you. I was miserable. I started taking B6 and Unisom (CVS brand) at night which did amazing things! You should ask your Dr. I felt so much better. Nothing else seemed to help but that. My Dr said not to worry about the weight gain yet. That as long as I was gaining a little and not losing, it was good. They said that the baby will take what it needs and leave me feeling like crap.
Hi 2nd Tri ladies
Things are going well. I have had some bleeding off and on the past week and a half. It worries me, but everything looked good when my OB sent me in for an ultrasound and baby boy is very active. It seems that any kind of exercise, even just walking too much, is causing it. My OB said no exercise, no lifting, no sex, take it easy and rest. It's hard for me to sit still, but I am working on it!
QOTW: We have! We actually decided today. But I am weird and not ready to share yet
Totally unfair of me, but I can't wait to hear everyone's names if they have decided and want to share.
TTC #2
Please add me as well, my EDD is 10/11/12
Any updates you'd like to share?
QOTW: We have a girls name set, it is Adele Victoria T. Adele was my Grandmother's middle name and Victoria is my MIL middle name. Boy names are a different story. DH keeps suggesting names from horror movies.
I don't have too many complaints right now. I wish I looked pregnant, but I know I will pop eventually.
QOTW: Kinsley Frances is her name! We love it!
My confessions: I hate that I have pimples up and down my arms. I was okay with it on my back but not on my arms. I'm sick of worrying that everything is going to be okay but I'm tired of people telling me not to worry. I secretly like people telling me that I am starting to look pg. Somebody looked at me weird today when she said I looked pg. and I said thank you! I'm not at all upset that DH and I have not had sex since the ER in October. I just want the baby to be okay and I'm fine with waiting.
QOTD: Yes, we do have a name. We are going to call him Ben. It's cute because ds is already calling him Baby Ben.
FFC: This pregnancy has been tougher than my pregnancy with ds. In the 1st few weeks of m/s I remember thinking...How could I have wanted this for the past 2 years??? I am feeling better now, but I will feel better once I have a baby in my arms and I can stop worrying about harming him inside the womb.
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~

My IF blog
We do have a name picked out, but since we're team sneaky, I will just say that it is either Simon Nicholas or Serafina Marie.
My compaints:
#1 - I now have BH, reflux AND constipation. My stomach and back are absolutely killing me and nothing seems to help (though the new combo of Zantac and Colace does seem to help a little so far). My lovely, pleasant pregnancy has taken a turn for the worse and I fear it will not return.
#2 - Do people REALLY think I am unaware that baby's get up a lot at night? I mean, some dude I don't know in the checkout line at lunch today looks at me and says, "make sure you get lots of sleep now while you can, he he." Um, I would if my back would stop hurting and I didn't have to pee every hour, but thanks for tip, jackass. Did he really expect me to say, "whatever do you mean, kind sir? Please, share your parental wisdom with me!" The stupid. It burns! ::runs away screaming::
Any updates you'd like to share? No updates here but a girl I grew up with just found out she is having a boy also, very excited that our kids will be 3 weeks apart!
QOTW: Have you decided on a name yet? Would you like to share?
We have and his name will be Declan Brendan- I might ask down the line if he wants to change it to Declan Anthony (Anthony was his fathers name who died a month ago today).
FFC: I am tired of the snot that will not calm down and the pinch nerves! Owww. Also, I am tired of buying things for him or even just mentioning to strangers that I have a kid due in the August and they look at me like I am crazy. I realize it is a blessing that I have not gained any weight and I do not look pregnant but it is tiring getting those looks.DX: Severe MFI 9/1/11

SAIF Always Welcome
Updates: We still haven't picked up our nursery furniture. I have been slacking on cleaning out the room. I really have to get that done. Hoping to pick up the furniture this weekend.
QOTW: We are still debating on names. DH wants to wait until she is born to name her. He doesn't want me asking my family their opinions on the name. He wants us to just decide. That's really hard for me because I'm used to getting their input on big decisions.
FFC: I'm so exhausted. I still wake up several times a night. Either I can't get comfortable or I have to pee. Who ever wrote these books saying that the need to pee every hour goes away in the 2nd tri is crazy. It's only gotten worse. Baby girl just loves sitting on my bladder!!
Hey can you add me? My EDD is 10/21.
QOTW: If it is a girl we will name her Olivia Natalie and if it is a boy we will name him Lucas Alphonse. Both the middle names are from our grandparents.
FFC: I have been living on pizza partly because I'm craving it and partly just because I love and DH normally doesn't buy it with me.
3 IUI's w/Clomid & Ovidrel=all BFNs
3 IVF (2 Fresh, 1 frozen) =BFN

Added! Welcome!
Hey!!! May I be added? My EDD is 10/24.
QOTW: We have them narrowed down. But aren't decided on sharing yet. We'll decide once we know the gender in a couple weeks
FFC: I am sick of everyone saying how big I am already. I know I'm huge, thank you! Please stop asking if I am sure there is only one. I am equally as shocked at how much of a baby bump I have. But, guess what America? I haven't gained 1 flipping pound; I've actually lost 7lbs!!!!!
Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's

FWIW, I think Declan Anthony flows better. Plus Anthony is my late father's name too. If it weren't for the initials (SAC, as in ballsack. My sister laughed hysterically and begged my not to do it.), it would have been our boy middle name choice.
Thank you so much for the welcome and advice. My RE recommended the B6/ Unisom combo. How much B6 do you take? Do you find it helps for the whole next day? I tend to have a sick session while getting ready, around dinner, and sometimes before bed. I spoke with my OB and he recommended stopping PNVs for a bit and also trying Benedryl. I think it is a bit better, but it is still a struggle!

I totally agree it sounds better but I mention it before he passed away and DH said that he did not want it since his brothers first name is also Anthony (they do not get along). We shall wait and see and his initials would spell DAG which I do not think is to bad but then again my mind would not have gone to ballsack with yours

I took 50mg of B6 and either 1/2 or a whole Unisom tablet. You have to check the ingredients of the Unisom because some versions use a different ingredient. The CVS brand had the original ingredient. After taking it for a few days I was good to go. I ended up staying on it till about 19 weeks. I tried to stop taking it a few times over the weekend and would be sick the next day. It definitely helped me the whole next day. Before taking it I would be fine in the morning but by mid-afternoon through the rest of the evening I was nausous and throwing up. I tried Zofran first and that just made me constipated. The B6/Unisom is the only thing that helped me. Good luck!!
Added! So great to see you here, Worms!
Got ya added! Welcome!!
Updates: we had another appt with peri today and baby girl is still looking great! Up to 1 lb and 9 oz! She's currently in a frank breach position. Fluid looks good and cervix is long and closed!
Her name is Grace Danielle.
FFC I guess would be the increasing back pain. All in all, I have had a smooth pregnancy...no real m/s or issues. Knock on wood!

No big updates. I think I can feel one of the babies fluttering when I lay on my stomach. 16w U/S is on Thursday and I have a ton of questions for my OB, but taking it easy until then.
QOTW: Have you decided on a name yet? Would you like to share?
We have one boy first and middle name. Possible a first name for a second boy. We also have one girl first and middle name. Probably won't discuss any more names until we find out the sexes.
FFC: not really anything I can think of right now.

Hello!! Can you please add me? my EDD is 10/18
QOTD: If it's a boy I kind of have no choice DH is adamant about it being Thomas, that's DH's name but he goes by Tommy(which I don't like) but I can live with Thomas. DH's argument is that we would be naming him after DH's dad whom we lost too soon to cancer in 2009. So I can't argue that too much. If it's a girl I have no clue. Can't wait for our gender scan on May 12th!
FFC: Constipation is a b*tch! Also what is up with all this hair growth? Hair is sprouting everywhere so fast except on my head. I can't keep up with my eyebrows and what is us with the peach fuzz on my stomach!?

Hello there my fellow 2nd Tri peeps!
I am feeling frequent movement this week, which is exciting and reassuring. I have another ultrasound tomorrow and cannot wait to see my little guy again! As for FFC, my biggest 2 are the leg cramps I keep getting at night- it has become impossible to sleep more than an hour at a time tops without waking up. Second would be the very frequent urination. There are some times I go pee, and I immediately feel like I have to go again! Very frustrating, but soooo worth it!
QOTW: we have selected a name. He will be Barrett Conrad E. We both fell in love with the name Barrett, and Conrad is the name of our favorite song by our favorite band. We are very excited about our choice and love calling him by his name.
Coen (or Cohen/Kohen) is an awesome name, but just be aware/prepared that it is a sacred name in the Jewish faith and considered offensive by many to be used as a first name (especially if you are not Jewish, not that I know what religionyou may be). It is being used more and more, but just want to make sure you know.
IVF 1 April 2011 - Cancelled
IVF 1.5 July 2011 - MC
IVF 2 October 2011 - BFP!
*Identical Twin Boys born June 2012*
Here we go again...IVF 3 is underway!
Any updates you'd like to share? I hit my V-day on Sunday!!!! I am having a hard time not buying more baby stuff (I have my nursery setup, most of my big ticket items and lots of clothes and other small stuff that I have picked up on sale or at consignment since pretty much day one). DH is making me wait to buy anything else until after our shower.
QOTW: Have you decided on a name yet? Yes Would you like to share? Tristan Michael. Tristan was a night of the round table (DH is a big nerd) and Michael is DH's 1st name.
I did not know that. Thank you for sharing! I am Christian, by the way.
Added!
Congrats!!! How exciting!
Gotcha added! Welcome to the check in.
Any updates you'd like to share? The boys are doing well. Seem to be about the same size.
QOTW: Have you decided on a name yet? One we do. Would you like to share? He will be a 3rd, Thomas Eugene. I have 2 other names picked for the other one depending on what he looks like when he comes out, but not sharing just yet.
FFC: As much as I wanted to be pregnant, I am MISERABLE most of the time, can't sleep, can't do much typing due to carpal tunnel, can't stand for more than 2 min, can't get anything done around the house. Don't get me wrong, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO thankful that the boys are healthy so far, but I am NOT a good pregnant person.
