Added something over baby's crib. Opinions please! Picture inside

I added this over my baby girls crib to give more of the princess feel. Hopefully I attach the picture correctly.

    Oh yes as my husband was hanging them I was making sure it was on good! He assured me that it wasnt going anywhere so I have to trust him. It it falls he better run to another state :)

    It looks absolutely beautiful! The pediatric nurse in me must say that I would recommend taking the curtains down when the baby can reach and pull on things. Not only could it possibly fall but it is also a strangulation risk. I don't see any issues for a newborn though!

    It looks pretty, I'm just not sure it's safe.  I could definitely see my toddler pulling that off the wall or using it to swing out of the crib.

    When she is able to pull up and grab things the curtains will be pulled back and away from the actual crib. I won't have them hanging over it for sure. By that time I'll probably have another idea for the room :)

    I think it looks AWESOME but I would get some curtain tie backs to keep the curtains away from baby and attach them to the wall. 

    I love the paint also! Great JOB!

    So pretty pretty! Yes...so pretty it deserved two :).  But I would agree that the curtains should be taken down.  I guess you could leave them up for now, but once she is old enough to start grabbing things, it will be time to take them down.

    The safety issue has been thought out. Once she is able to pull up and grab things the curtains will be anchored to the wall with hooks away from the bed. That way it still gived the same look just not hanging on the actual crib.

    I like it!  But my question is about the wall color/design.  I can't really tell from the picture, but it almost looks like a slight pattern???  Or maybe my eyes are just playing major tricks on me.

    no pattern and your eyes arent playing tricks on you :) I have a full crystal light hanging so when I turn it on I have the reflections of it all over the wall :) The walls are actually just a dark tan solid color

    Dark tan???  Really, it looks gray!  Either way, I think it looks beautiful and as long as you have a plan to change up the decor when LO gets to moving around, I don't see an issue with it.
