Thank you so much! I had the most amazing news today. Everything turned around! This really is such a roller coaster.
Heres my complete recap:
Baseline, 25 follicles, E2: 82
After 3 days of stims, 13 follicles between 6.5-11.5mm (mostly 10-11). E2: 755, Lining 7mm
After 6 days of stims, 3 follicles at 19-20, 3 at 14-16, 12+ at 10-13. E2: 2700+, Lining 13mm
After 7 days of stims (today), 1 follicle at 21, 2 at 17-18, 4 at 16, 3 at 14-15. Some smaller as well. Lining 9mm
So where did the other 2 follicles go that were 19-20? They are most likely hiding and I may get extra mature eggs that aren't listed (The 17-18s were on the other ovary so it's definitely not them squished). Either way, they didn't grow out of control, so I get to wait an extra day to trigger and let everything catch up. Now, everything that is 14+ (10 eggs) today will likely be mature for my retrieval on Friday.
Also, my RE has no idea how I have a perfect 9mm lining today when yesterday it looked crappy and thick. I do have to use a Lupron trigger because of my high E2, but that's obviously no big deal.
I can't wait to hear more updates from you! Yours seem to be growing slower and steadier than mine based on your first monitoring, which is great. When do you go in again?
I'm so happy for you!!! Thats great news! I go tomorow morning, it's only day 5 and I am pretty uncomfortable :-( hopefully that means I have lots of good follicles! Dumb question but how does Lupron work as a trigger?
Warning
No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
I'm not completely sure on the Lupron trigger as far as how it works. I know that is one of the benefits of the antagonist protocol that I'm on. Since I'm not suppressing with Lupron, it can be used as a trigger to avoid OHSS from the HCG.
Sorry to hear you're uncomfortable! I could barely feel anything on day 5. Day 6 is where I started really noticing it. I took 3 weeks off work for this, so I mostly relax all day and it doesn't bother me when I'm lying down. I haven't even taken my dog for a walk for a few days because I know it would get uncomfortable quickly.
Good luck at your monitoring tomorrow! I hope you have a lot that are all the same size!
