I've been using these for over a month now and never questioned myself about which side goes against the skin. I've always put the white rougher side, the side that says the sizes, against DD. The other day my mom was putting the other side on her all day and she a bright red rash. I looked at Cottonbabies and it said the smooth side goes against them. The picture looks like I've been doing it backwards. Which side is meant to be against skin? I won't change what I'm doing because of the rash she got, but I'd just like to know.
Re: ? about flip stay-dry inserts
The white smooth side. That's what makes it a 'stay-dry.' The other side would feel wet against them.
It's a good thing I read this thread because I had no idea there was a right and wrong side! My Flips didn't come with directions either... I'm assuming because they're all seconds and/or used, and I never bought them as a whole package?
Thanks!

She wears BG 4.0's at night and has never developed a rash from it. So what do I do? Obviously I have been putting the wrong side against her (the microfiber side), but the smooth side gave her a rash. Should I just keep doing what I'm doing?
try a fleece liner? I know it sucks to have another layer but then you won't have to worry about which side.
