Registry peeping

So are any of you all actually looking to see what has been purchased from your registry or are you waiting to be surprised at your shower? My shower is this Sunday and my husband said my MIL just bought the baby a bunch of stuff and it is killing me haha

    I looked, but it didn't give me any indication of reality.  I was still incredibly surprised at the shower.

    I totally stalked my registry. I still got lots of things that I did not expect and therefore was suprised. Some of it, the store did not take off the registry correctly, so it appeared unbought but it was.

    YEP!!! I stalk my registries multiple times a day!!! It is still a surprise who it is coming from, but I couldn't stand not knowing. Plus I had repeats on my two registries so if it was bought off of one I took it off the other so I didn't get duplicates!

    3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks 
    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    I check pretty regularly because I'm registered on amazon.com and sometimes items go out of stock - that way I can take down the ones that aren't available and put up replacements.

    Guilty!  Check it all the time, and the shower invites just went out!  Not much to stalk yet!  I did that for my wedding too!  Terrible.  Huh?

    I'm totally having a pity party because I'm pretty confident that there will not be a shower until at least a month after baby arrives. I'm due at the beginning of June and my sister is coming from another province at the beginning of July, so my family's will be then. Hubby's family gets together end of July or beginning of August and that's when they do everything for the year. And the church ladies are planning one for September because they're thinking if they do it earlier everyone will be on vacation.

    Just to sum-up, I'm not complaining. It's awesome that we'll have so many showers, it's just sad that I don't get to do that fun stuff now.

    I stalked mine all the time. but as pp it didnt update correctly and things that were bought were still showing unpurchased on my registries ;) have fun at your shower they are so much fun and its amazing all the things you will need for the baby

    I definitely peeped....constantly!! I was still completely surprised/overwhelmed/ amazed at my shower.  But I was very proud of myself because amazon allows you to check who purchased the items but I never checked. Go me, lol.

    I totally look--almost daily.  It calms my frazzled nerves b/c I am trying to budget for stuff that hubby and I still need to purchase.  I have found that it doesn't ruin the surprise for me b/c I still don't know who bought what.

    Haha I have got it down to a science! I check a few times a day, I can't help it! It's so much fun, I'm so excited fo rthe little one to come and I love seeing when something else has been bought, hoping that whoever got it was just as excited! Soooo many people like to go rogue and shop off the registry so you will still be surprised with all those gifts! Go ahead and peek!! Its part of the fun!
