Hi girls, i'm not sure if this is the board to ask or maybe you can point me in a direction to find out more information. My sister and I both have a blood clotting disorder called MTHFR but she also suffers from endometriosis, which the dr will not do any more surgeries unless it involves taking things out. So She may be looking into the option of surrogacy to expand add to her family. She was blessed with one DS after a lot of surgeries and help from the doctors but hasn't been able to conceive and the drs aren't hopeful that she will. So, being i'm the computer savvy one :P I told her I would ask my Bump friends to see if they know of anyone who has utilized a surrogate mother and how things went for them? Costs associated? the whole process in a nutshell? We live in the upper midwest and its not something you come into contact with very much. I've given thought to being a surrogate for her but i'm not sure how my emotions would deal with that idea yet. Any help or ideas or direction would be wonderful. Thank you so much!

Re: Topic: Surrogacy Help
i don't have any info about it but you may want to ask on Success after Infertility, there may be ladies on that board who have had success/experience with surrogacy.
